Listen to the weather

Good news RR! It is not a boiling hot day today. For the first time in a few weeks it is below 90.

On a day like today it is a good idea to actually go outside. Though the temperature is lower, you should still be careful.

“Main weather change today will be thunderstorm motion. Storms will move to the northeast around 15 mph. This should hopefully give the have-nots some rain this afternoon/evening,” Albuquerque National Weather Service Meteorologist Randall Herdgert said.

Hopefully the rain sticks around long enough to cool us all off.

Here’s today’s forecast:

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88 and a low around 65. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
