Sandoval County DWI Prevention, Cumulus Media Albuquerque, Bernalillo County Department of Behavioral Health Services, the New Mexico Department of Transportation and Ron Bell Injury Lawyers has announced details for a safe ride option for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
“Take A Ride on Us” provides metro-area residents the ability to take advantage of a safe ride option instead of driving under the influence during St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in which alcohol consumption is common.
Rather than drive drunk, from noon Thursday, through midnight Sunday, Bernalillo and Sandoval County residents can open the Uber app and use the code GREEN22. By using the code, riders will receive a credit of up to $15 off two trips.
The maximum amount of trips available is 500, on a first-come, first-served basis. The credit can only be used for rides, not Uber Eats, and the discount does not cover tip.
“Take A Ride on Us” was created by Cumulus Media Albuquerque. The program has seen massive success through the partnership of Bernalillo County, ENDWI and Ron Bell Injury Lawyers.
Listeners will be reminded about the code throughout the St. Patrick’s Day weekend on Cumulus Media Albuquerque’s radio stations: 96.3 FM News Radio KKOB, 93.3 THE Q, 92.3 KRST, 103.3 eD FM, Magic 99-5, 95.9 FM/610 AM The Sports Animal, and 94.5 The Pit.
