Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, one of the world’s most successful stand-up comedians, is bringing is “Don’t Worry Be Fluffy” tour to the Rio Rancho Events Center May 16, 2024.

Iglesias recently became the second-highest-grossing touring comedian with more than 1.1 billion views on YouTube and 25 million fans on social media. He has been included in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 40 Comedy Players” issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels and was the ocver of Variety’s comdedy issue. He is also one of the few comedians to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden in New York City, Arena in Los Angeles and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.

He also stars in and is the executive producer of the Netflix comedy series, “Mr. Iglesias,” which won best primetime comedy at the Imagen Awards, which recognizes positive portrayals of Latinx actors and acresses, in 2020. He also has a deal with the streaming platform for two stand-up comedy specials: “One Show Fits All” debuted in January 2019, while “Stadium Fluffy” premiered Oct. 18. During that one, taped at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, Iglesias made history as the first comedian to perform at and sell out the largest Major League Baseball stadium in the United States. The two Netflix specials follow the successful 2016 special, “I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry.”

Iglesias has also appeared in feature films such as “Magic Mike,” “Magic Mike XXL” and “A Haunted House 2.” Animated voice credits include Speedy Gonzales in “Space Jam: A New Legacy, “Coco,” “Ugly Dolls,” “Cuatro” and “Fredinand.” He is also one of a handful of comedians with a theatrically released stand-up concert comedy film with “The Fluffy Movie.”

On TV, he also starred in “Fluffy’s Food Adventures,” a nonscripted comedic docu-follow series, for three seasons on Fuse TV; three seasons of “Stand-Up Revolution” on Comedy Central;” the two-night comedy special “Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy” on Comedy Central;  a recurring role on ABC’s “Cristela;” and a guest-star appearance on ABC’s “Modern Family.” He also has two DVD special, “Hot & Fluffy” and “I’m Not Fat … I’m Fluffy.”

Iglesias’ upcoming projects include co-starring with Tim Allen in the second season of “The Santa Clauses” on Disney+.
