Sandia Area Federal Credit Union has a new CFO.

Robert Nagaki has taken on the role after the retirement of former CEO Paula Peknik. Former CFO Kevin Todd moved into that position, leading to Nagaki being named CFO.

He has been in the financial and credit union industry for 14 years, most recently as treasury and ALM officer. He has a Chartered Financial Analyst certification and received and MBA from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Business.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Sandia Area team. I look forward to taking on new responsibilities and continuing to support the credit union movement [of people first],” he said.

Nagaki is also involved with the Roadrunner Food Bank, Folds of Honor and Warrior Dog Foundation.

Sandia Area Federal Credit Union has a Rio Rancho location at 1601 Rio Rancho Blvd. SE.
