COVID-19 hospitalizations in New Mexico saw another gradual drop to start the new week.

The state Department of Health reported Monday there are currently 41 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, with two patients on ventilators. That hospitalization number decreased by 10 from this past Friday.

NMDOH also reported Monday there are 477 new COVID-19 cases spanning the last three days (with a test positivity rate of about 1.6 percent) and six new COVID-19 deaths.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state from the outset of the pandemic is up to 520,288 as of Monday. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths is up to 7,416 as of Monday.
