COVID-19 hospitalization numbers in New Mexico remain fairly steady, but cases are ticking up.
The state Department of Health reported Thursday that 46 people are currently hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, including 10 patients on ventilators. NMDOH also reported 242 new cases (with a test positivity rate of about 2.8 percent) and two new COVID-19 deaths on Thursday.
Since the start of the pandemic, New Mexico’s tallied 520,828 total COVID-19 cases and 7,436 total COVID-19 deaths.
