New Mexico added 127 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, according to the state Department of Health’s tableau data dashboard page.
NMDOH reported the number of new positive cases were out of 4,999 COVID-19 tests performed, meaning the test positivity rate’s 2.5 percent.
New Mexico also saw a very slight uptick in COVID-19 hospitalizations and ventilated patients Tuesday, reporting 121 hospitalizations and 16 people on ventilators.
The state also reported 25 new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, bringing the cumulative statewide total to 7,103. The number of cumulative statewide cases is now at 515,625.
The latest COVID-19 vaccination numbers
As of Tuesday, 83.4 percent of Sandoval County adults have completed their vaccination series.
Statewide, 78.3 percent of New Mexico adults have completed their vaccination series as of Tuesday. Of that group, 45.2 percent have received a booster dose.
For children ages 12 to 17, 61.5 percent have completed their vaccination series. For kids ages five to 11, 30.6 percent have completed their vaccination series.
