COVID-19 cases continue to rise steeply in New Mexico.

The state Department of Health reported Monday there were 2,307 new cases spanning the last three days. Since Thursday, NMDOH’s reported 4,368 total cases.

The test positivity rate from Monday’s report was about 10.8 percent, and a combined 11 percent overall since Thursday.

NMDOH also reported 19 new COVID-19 deaths Monday, 47 overall since Thursday.

As of Monday, there are currently 127 people hospitalized for COVID-19 in New Mexico, including 12 patients on ventilators.
