The latest COVID-19 test positivity rate is still rising in New Mexico.
The state Department of Health reported Wednesday there were 354 new cases, with a test positivity rate of about 5.8 percent. The test positivity rate on Tuesday was about 5.2 percent.
The state’s total number of reported cases since the start of the pandemic is now 525,249.
NMDOH reported 13 new COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday, bringing New Mexico’s total to 7,594.
NMDOH also reported there are currently 44 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, including eight patients on ventilators.
