COVID-19 hospitalizations in New Mexico continue to rise, with the state seeing its highest count in two months.

The state Department of Health reported Tuesday there are currently 103 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, including nine patients on ventilators. The last time New Mexico saw more than 100 COVID-19 hospitalizations statewide was on March 25, when NMDOH reported 103 that day.

NMDOH also reported 542 new COVID-19 cases, with a test positivity rate of about 9.2 percent. Additionally, NMDOH reported 16 new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.
