COVID-19 hospitalizations are still rising in New Mexico.

The state Department of Health reported Thursday there are currently 95 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, including 15 patients who are on ventilators. The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients has nearly tripled since April 29, when NMDOH reported 33 COVID-19 hospitalizations that day.

NMDOH also reported 583 new cases (with a test positivity rate of about 6.2 percent) and 14 new COVID-19 deaths on Thursday.
