COVID-19 hospitalizations in New Mexico remain unchanged as of late.

The state Department of Health reported there are 77 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19 as of Tuesday, with eight patients on ventilators. Those same exact numbers were reported on Monday.

NMDOH also reported 102 new COVID-19 cases (with a test positivity rate of about 2.3 percent) and 22 new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.

Latest COVID vaccination numbers

As of Tuesday, 83.7 percent of Sandoval County adults have completed their primary vaccination series.

Statewide, 77.8 of adults have completed their primary vaccination series, while 46 percent of New Mexico adults have received a booster dose. For children ages 12 to 17, 61.7 percent of that group have completed their primary vaccination series as of Tuesday. For kids ages five to 11, 31.5 percent of that group have completed their primary vaccination series.
