COVID-19 hospitalizations in New Mexico again dipped, despite the recent influx of new cases.
The state Department of Health reported Friday there are currently 33 people hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, down six from Thursday. Two of those patients are on ventilators as of Friday.
NMDOH also reported 236 new cases Fridays, with a test positivity rate of about 2.9 percent. NMDOH also reported 15 new COVID-19 deaths on Friday, bringing the total to 7,499 since the start of the pandemic.
