COVID-19 cases continue to slowly rise in New Mexico.

The state Department of Health reported 274 new cases (with a test positivity rate of about 3.2 percent) and 19 new COVID deaths on Thursday.

COVID-19 hospitalizations again trended down, however, as NMDOH reported 39 people are currently hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. Three of those patients are on ventilators as of Thursday.

Since the start of the pandemic, New Mexico’s has a total of 522,094 cases and 7,484 COVID-19 deaths.
