Sandoval County puckers up for its Cupid’s Kiss Pop-Up Wedding event hosted at EL Zócalo Event Center on Valentine’s Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Couples can unite their love in matrimony, with Sandoval County providing a judge, venue and decor.

Each couple will be married by Magistrate Judge Ann Maxwell-Chavez in 20-minute increments.

“El Zócalo Event Center has had the honor of hosting scores of weddings for countless happy couples, and we wanted to open our doors and share this stunning historic venue with the public as a show of appreciation to the community and beyond,” said manager of the facility Belle Allen in a Sandoval County press release.

According to the press release, couples don’t need to live in Sandoval County to participate and must bring a marriage license that can be purchased for about $25 at any county clerk’s office in the state. The cost of the license is the only required expense.

The couple and their witnesses, who must be at least 18 years old, will need photo IDs.

Space is limited; to reserve a spot, visit sandovalcountynm.gov and scroll down to select the event box to access the registration form.

Walk-ins can participate if time permits. They will need to bring all the required documents to EL Zócalo, 264 S. Camino del Pueblo, in the town of Bernalillo on Feb. 14.

The Pink Ladies Food Truck will provide food, and cake will come from Cake Boutiques. Drinks are on Joe’s Pasta House, providing all participants sparkling cider.

ABC Balloon Decorating supplies balloons, and Sonrisa Blooms will provide bride-worthy flowers.

Magic Mirror Photo Booth of New Mexico will have couples striking a pose with a Valentine’s Day photo booth.
