The Sandoval County Treasurer’s Office and Sheriff’s Office are gathering toys this year for children of families experiencing economic hardship. The toy drive will take place Nov. 27 through Dec. 22.

“Like most people, the holidays are my favorite time of year. Unfortunately, some in our community do not always have the means to provide their children with the holiday they deserve. That is why it is my great pleasure to again be partnering with Sandoval County Sheriff Jesse James Casaus to collect and deliver holiday gifts to the most vulnerable in our community,” Sandoval County Treasurer Jennifer Taylor said.

Taylor added that past toy drives have been successful and have brought “so much joy to children all over the county.”

“Giving back provides this happiness and it also teaches children that we need to take care of each other. I would like to thank the residents of Sandoval County for their generosity in the past years and for the years to come,” Taylor said.

Casaus says they are always honored and happy to bring smiles to the faces of children.
