Colliers New Mexico-El Paso announced last week that Curtis M. Mummau has been named as the managing director.

Mummau officially assumed the position on Aug. 28. His role will entail leading and collaborating with brokers, portfolio managers, marketing, research and support staff at the firm, as well as building relationships with commercial real estate clients and professionals across the state.

“We welcome Curtis and are thankful for his refreshing ideas and the energy he brings to all our Colliers platforms,” Colliers senior vice president and principal John Ransom said.

Mummau has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, having worked alongside more than 400 industry professionals. He spent most of his career working in Richmond, Virginia, as senior vice president of commercial property services where he directed, led and collaborated with teams across multiple states who provided third-party brokerage and management services for more than 450 properties, totaling over 32 million square feet valued at more than $3 billion.

“I am excited and honored to join the state’s premier full-service commercial real estate firm who is aligned with such a respected and recognizable global brand,” Mummau said. “I look forward to serving and collaborating with every member of the firm to provide value-driven results to clients.”
