Central New Mexico Community College’s Rio Rancho Campus unveiled a series of improvements earlier this month as a part of CNM’s broader efforts to “enhance the wayfinding experience for campus visitors,” according to a press release.
The improvements at the Rio Rancho campus, located at 2601 Campus Boulevard, include an educational nature trail, a wellness path with an outdoor classroom and overlook structure, plus an amphitheater area with a PV panel array as part of the “Campus as a Living Lab” experience, per the release.
SDV Construction, New Mexico’s largest veteran-owned company, oversaw the construction of different projects for CNM’s five campus locations, per the release.
“CNM has continued to grow and expand, and we are honored to be a part of that growth,” SDV Construction CEO Paul Farless said in the release. “Throughout the CNM campuses, we’ve improved lighting, added new welcome signage, enhanced pedestrian experiences and new campus architecture. The result is a better first impression and better overall experience for students, faculty and visitors.”
