The City of Rio Rancho is seeking applications from residents interested in filling two seats on its Capital Improvements Plan Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CIPCAC).

The committee is made up of representatives of the real estate, development or building industries, in accordance with the New Mexico Development Fees Act. The committee advises and assists the city in the preparation, implementation and update of the impact fees capital improvement plan (IFCIP).

The IFCIP is a plan developed to support the creation of impact fees. Regular meetings of the board take place quarterly at Rio Rancho City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle.

Board members serve a three-year term.

Individuals interested in volunteering on the board can submit an application and résumé at rrnm.gov/applicationform or to the Office of the City Clerk inside City Hall. Applications will be accepted until the seat is filled; however, those interested are encouraged to apply by Feb. 15.
