Listen to the weather
Today will be the start of a storm system that will go into Friday with chances of rain and snow.
Albuquerque National Weather Service says, “While it won’t feel like Jan or Feb, we’ll get a taste of a little snow in the mountains Thursday, and some chilly temperatures Thursday.”
They advise caution while traveling tonight as chilly temperatures could produce ice where it rained.
Even though snow probably won’t accumulate on the ground ice can still occur.
There is a 20% chance of isolated showers after 9 am. Then after midnight there is a 50% chance of rain and snow. Then more after 3 am. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 60 and a low around 32. It will be breezy, with a south wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Stay warm folks!
