A balloon that crashed into power lines in Southwest Albuquerque on Saturday morning caused temporary road closures and power outages in the area — but no injuries, according to local officials.

The balloon hit lines at Central and 114th SW, according to a tweet from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office issued at about 9 a.m.

The tweet stated no injuries were reported and all passengers were out of the gondola.

Public Service Company of New Mexico said power was restored to all affected customers before 9:30 a.m., according to a tweet from the utility.

Westbound Central and 114th were temporarily closed, but have since reopened.
