RRPS S.A.F.E. Before and After School Program for Elementary Students

Rio Rancho Public Schools’ before and after school program, Students Achieving For Excellence (S.A.F.E.), is gearing up to welcome students for the new school year.

Parents interested in enrolling their students in S.A.F.E. and who are not already signed up should visit the district’s S.A.F.E. program website at https://www.rrps.net/page/safe, and click on the “registration” tab. Currently, there is a waitlist for all of the sites. As we have openings available, families will be notified by the site coordinator.

S.A.F.E. provides before and after-school supervision of students in a fun and exciting environment.

The program allows students to extend their learning beyond the regular classroom routines and participate in various activities, projects, and games. We offer life skills, health and fitness, homework support, and interactive experiences in science, math, technology, engineering, art, and music. The program is designed to keep children safe and inspire them to learn and explore while simultaneously assisting working families.

A non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of registration. Rates for the program vary depending on the session or sessions a parent wishes their child to attend. A complete rate schedule, additional information, and online and downloadable registration forms are included on the S.A.F.E. registration website.
