SANTA ANA PUEBLO — Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa hosted the upcoming season of ABC’s “The Bachelorette.”
According to a Tamaya news release, the resort serves as the location for bachelorette Katie Thurston’s search for love. “The Bachelorette” premieres its 17th season Monday at 7 p.m.
“We are honored to serve as the backdrop for Katie Thurston’s journey to find love on the upcoming season of ‘The Bachelorette’ and represent the beautiful state of New Mexico,” said Claudia Wattenberg, general manager at the Tamaya. “Hyatt Regency Tamaya provided the romantic destination for Katie to experience the beauty, outdoors and culture of New Mexico.”
After appearing in the 25th season of “The Bachelor,” Thurston emerged as a leading voice, who stood up against bullying and negativity in the house, according to the release.
“The 30-year-old Washington native became an instant fan favorite for her memorable arrival on Night One,” according to the release. “Unapologetically herself, Katie is adventurous, daring and ready for a man with whom she can build a life.”
