A thank you to the Observer for covering the April 13 city council meeting. I was aghast that four of our citizens were so ignorant of our country’s constitution that they actually addressed the council requesting that the council enact a ban on books they didn’t like.

That was scary, something worthy of Nazi Germany or some other totalitarian regime.

Congratulations to the other citizens attending who pointed out the error of the four’s un-American proposal.
